ATP Hall of Fame Open🇺🇸 Final Result

Kevin Anderson (8) d Jenson Brooksby 7-6(8) 6-4

A heavily anticipated final! The crowd behind the 20yo American, playing the big South-African. Brooksby started off with some spectacular tennis, proving nerves was not at play. However, during the first set, it was clear the 2 metre giant showed his shot speed, smashing it back at the world no 126. The American had the edge in the tiebreak, leading 4-2 at the change of ends, but it was Anderson continually holding the aggression, clinching the tiebreak. Brooksby's second serve just not strong enough during the match. All in all, the 20yo did very well to only get broken once. Brooksby has a bright future, but it was Kevin Anderson's day, claiming his 7th career title, but first grass title.
