ATP Queens 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Day 4 Results

Matteo Berrettini (1) d Andy Murray 6-3 6-3

As much as the home crowd, and fans in general would have loved Murray's comeback to continue, the Italian was too much, serving 14-4 aces, and winning 83% of his serve. Berrettini importantly broke Murray's serve twice in the second set, so he could serve first in the second set, and continue the momentum.

Denis Shapovalov (2) d Feliciano Lopez 6-2 6-3

These two played a week ago, with Shapovalov winning in a relatively close 3 set match. Shapovalov did lose momentum in the match due to a rain delay, but there was no delay in this match, as Shapo ran home with a straight sets victory, breaking 3 times throughout the match, and not giving any break point opportunities away.

Frances Tiafoe d Viktor Troicki 6-3 7-6(4)

A theme at the grass tournaments this year is the advantage that big servers have. Despite Troicki serving 11-4 aces and less double faults, Tiafoe's return game is better than his ranking of 65 in the world, winning 32% of Troicki's service points.

Dan Evans (6) d Adrian Mannarino 6-4 7-6(7)

The match was tighter than it should have been. Evans utilised the crowd to win points in tight situations. It was a relatively even match, but Mannarino had his chances, only converting 1/6 break points, comparing to 2/4 for the Brit.
